Dear Parents, Families of (current) Year 9, 10 and 11 students,

I am writing this as an update our progress in preparing for 2021. As you would appreciate, this year has presented numerous challenges and caused a range of delays and interruptions to traditional timelines at the College and our community. Your patience and understanding has been greatly appreciated.

Subject selection process and timetable construction

Construction of the overall timetable is almost complete. The range of subjects that we are able to offer has provided a diverse range of offerings, including a strong commitment to traditionally lower enrolment VCE studies.  There has also been a focus on providing additional resources to support Literacy and Numeracy across the College that aim to meet student needs and interests.

Letters containing students selections and confirmed allocated classes will be sent home on during weeks 4 and 5 (from October 28th to November 6th). If you do not receive a letter by the end of week 6 (November 13th) please contact the College so we can resend or make this information available to you via other means.

Students and families will be provided the opportunity to apply for course and subject changes during late November into early December. This process will be different when compared with previous years and the details of how this will operate will be shared with students and families in the coming weeks.

Booklists and equipment

The booklist has been finalised and was recently published to the school community. One of the dates on the booklist may have been misleading and created the impression that parents need to purchase items urgently. This is not the case. There is no need to purchase items urgently.

The preferred date for finalising orders and payment is December 4th. Orders can then be delivered in January or by click and collect. The retail outlet of Campion is working towards being open in January.

Updated booklist information will be available very soon on the College website.

If you have any concerns or further questions please do not hesitate to contact the College.

Many thanks again for your patience and support of our work,

Yours sincerely

David Caughey
College Principal
