APPLICATION FOR SCHOLARSHIP
Cranbourne Secondary College scholarships are open to students entering Year 7 who are well-rounded and demonstrate a high level of academic performance and achievement in one or more of the following areas: sport, music, performance, art, leadership, and community service.
Scholarship applications for students entering Year 7 at Cranbourne Secondary College in 2026 are now open.
Category | Description/Criteria |
Community Citizen | For students who are actively involved in their local community. This scholarship provides support in the form of a $500 credit upon enrolment, towards any nominated Cranbourne Secondary College expense. |
Performing Arts | For students who excel in Music or Drama and intend to participate in performing arts programs such as the College Production. This scholarship provides support in the form of a $500 credit upon enrolment, towards any nominated Cranbourne Secondary College expense. |
Sport | For students currently participating in sports who wish to compete at the inter-school, zone, or state level. This scholarship provides support in the form of a $500 credit upon enrolment, towards any nominated Cranbourne Secondary College expense. |
All Round Excellence | For students who display excellence in education, programs and participation in the wider school community. This scholarship provides support in the form of a $500 credit upon enrolment, towards any nominated Cranbourne Secondary College expense. |
Note: Applicants may apply in more than one category.
SELECTION CRITERIA FOR ALL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICANTS
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a high degree of skill and/or ability in the category in which they are applying. It is the responsibility of the applicant and his/her parents to present relevant information in support of the application.
The following supporting document, however, must be included:
- A photocopy of the Grade 6 mid-year report and the final Grade 5 report.
- A supporting letter from the primary school principal indicating excellence and/or ability, and level of involvement in school activities.
- Photocopies of certificates, awards, examination or competition results, reports from music, drama or art teachers, or sports coaches, citing excellence in the school or the general community.
- A short statement, in 200 words or fewer, written and signed by the applicant, outlining his/her goals for the future.
- The completed application form.
Applications should be forwarded to the College, marked SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION. Applications will be acknowledged, and applicants will be advised of the result of their application during November.
Scholarship applications must be received no later than Friday, 31 October 2025
