Course Information Program (ZISS) Year 10 into Year 11 will be held during the hours of 8:43am – 3:10pm

ZISS Program

The College has developed the Zoom into Senior Studies Program (ZiSS) for your child to participate in over a two-day period remotely. ZiSS will be held on Microsoft Teams (remotely) for all Year 10 students on Monday 26th July & Tuesday 27th July. This is an essential primer for students entering Year 11 (2022).

The program is designed to give students a ‘taste’ of subjects to help them make positive decisions regarding their senior school pathway.

The senior teachers will unpack key components of the Victorian Certificate of Education, the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning and Vocational and Education Training. This will enable your child to explore subject options and courses with assistance of senior school class teachers.

The ZiSS program will provide students with increased clarity regarding the demands and expectations of each subject and course of study.

The sessions are designed to privilege time for students to rotate through a large number of self-selected senior subjects over the two days. This event will allow your child to experience being a Year 11 in our senior school for the first time and allow your child time to reflect on the pathways decision that is necessary for their entry into the most appropriate senior course in 2022.

At this stage the College has made plans for this program to occur in remote learning. If a change occurs to this plan parents will be notified at the earliest possible convenience.

We appreciate your support with the ZiSS program and thank you for your ongoing commitment to our College.
