An election is to be conducted for members of the College Council of Cranbourne Secondary College.

Nomination forms may be obtained from the College and must be lodged by 4.00 pm on Tuesday 22nd February 2022.

Following the closing of nominations, a list of the nominations received will be posted at the College.

The terms of office, membership categories and number of positions in each membership category open for election are as follows:

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORYTERM OF OFFICENUMBER OF POSITIONS
Parent memberFrom the day after the date of the declaration of the poll in 2022 to and inclusive of the date of the declaration of poll in 2024.4
School employee memberFrom the day after the date of the declaration of the poll in 2022 to and inclusive of the date of the declaration of poll in 2024.4
Student memberFrom the day after the date of the declaration of the poll in 2022 to and inclusive of the date of the declaration of poll in 2024.2

 

If the number of nominations is less than the number of vacancies, a notice to that effect and calling for further nominations will be posted in a prominent position at the school.

If the number of nominations is greater than the number of vacancies, a ballot will be held with voting to take place between 8.00 am on 28th February and 4.00 pm on Wednesday 9th March 2022.

If the number of nominations is equal to the number of vacancies the ballot will be considered finalised with all vacancies filled.
