An election is to be conducted for members of the College Council of Cranbourne Secondary College.

Nomination forms may be obtained from the College and must be lodged by 3.00 pm on Thursday, February 22 2024.

Following the closing of nominations, a list of the nominations received will be posted at the College.

The terms of office, membership categories and the number of positions in each membership category open for election are as follows:

Parent member (1 year)From the day after the date of the declaration of the poll in 2024 to and inclusive of the date of the declaration of poll in 2025.2
Parent Member (2 year)From the day after the date of the declaration of the poll in 2024 to and inclusive of the date of the declaration of poll in 2026.3
School employee memberFrom the day after the date of the declaration of the poll in 2024 to and inclusive of the date of the declaration of poll in 2026.2
Student memberFrom the day after the date of the declaration of the poll in 2023 to and inclusive of the date of the declaration of poll in 2026.1

 

If the number of nominations is less than the number of vacancies, a notice to that effect and calling for further nominations will be posted in a prominent position at the school.

If the number of nominations is greater than the number of vacancies, a ballot will be held with voting to take place between 9.00 am on Monday, February 26 and 3.00 pm on Monday, March 4 2023.

If the number of nominations is equal to the number of vacancies the ballot will be considered finalised with all vacancies filled.
